Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

On Friday I walked south west along the coast from Biarritz to Bidart. It took about an hour and a half and I was very hungry when I got there. With the help of a surfer I was directed to Restaurant Auguste. For 14 euros I had a superb three course lunch and 50cl of wine. This is Fabienne, who served my lunch. Thanks Fabienne! After lunch, I walked to Guéthary, which apart from the tourist office was closed, but I was in good time to catch the only train of the afternoon back to Biarritz.

Bayonne.

Labenne station. Although only one train stops here between 8.30 and 17.30, the station is staffed - which is how things should be.
